This is to announce that the Joint CUHK-NTEC CREC is implementing new Charging Arrangements for both (1) Applications for Company-Sponsored Clinical Trials and (2) Scientific Evaluation of Phase 1 Clinical Trials with effect from 01 October 2017.
It was discussed in the 17th Meeting of HAHO Steering Committee on Research Ethics (HA REC) on 12 July 2017 that the new Standard Application Fee for all company-sponsored trials would be set at HK$17,500 per clinical trial. The new charge for Scientific Evaluation of Phase 1 Trials would be set at HK$12,500 per clinical trial.
All applicants submitting Company-Sponsored or/and Phase 1 initial applications on or after 01 October 2017 must be paying the newly set Fee/Charge whichever applicable. Otherwise, the applications may be returned unless the full amount is paid.
